Satan is amongst the creations of the Almighty and is not visible to the human beings. Verse 27, chapter 7 (Al-Araf) from the holy Quran shows that satan is invisible to us.
يَا بَنِي آدَمَ لاَ يَفْتِنَنَّكُم
ُ الشَّيْطَانُ كَمَا أَخْرَجَ أَبَوَيْكُم مِّنَ الْجَنَّةِ يَنزِعُ عَنْهُمَا لِبَاسَهُمَا لِيُرِيَهُمَا سَوْءَاتِهِمَا إِنَّهُ يَرَاكُمْ هُوَوَقَبِيلُهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لاَ تَرَوْنَهُمْ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا الشَّيَاطِينَ أَوْلِيَاء لِلَّذِينَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ (7:27)7:27 (Y. Ali) O ye Children of Adam! Let not Satan seduce you, in the same manner as He got your parents out of the Garden, stripping them of their raiment, to expose their shame: for he and his tribe watch you from a position where ye cannot see them: We made the evil ones friends (only) tothose without faith.The basic difference between satan and the human beings is that the satan does not have any flesh and bones on his body. Satan is a spiritual entity who has rebelled against Allah, unlike the human beings. Satan also sleeps eats and drinks like us. Satan is basically evil by nature and hence he does only evil deeds. Satan belongs to the group of jins (devil). This has been mentioned in the holy Quran in verse no.50, chapter Al-Kaif.Initially satan belonged to the group of jins. Later on he started mingling with the angels and because of his virtuous deeds Allah granted him the permission to enter heaven. When Allah created Adam and ordered the angels to prostrate before him, satan refusedto obey Allay due to his sheer arrogance, envy and conceit. He considered himself to be superior to Adam because Adam had been created from clay whereas satan was created from fire. This made Allah cast him out of his mercy. Satan thus got labeled as a disbeliever and was expelled from the paradise, humiliated and disgraced.

Introduction Of Satan
It Is A Sin To Eat Food Without Taking Allah's Name
Allah has forbidden us to eat that food on which his name has not been taken. For eg: when we sacrifice animals on Bakri-Eid, Allah's name is taken before the animal is sacrificed. This makes the meat of that animal halal or permissible for us to eat.وَلاَ تَأْكُلُواْ مِمَّا لَمْ يُذْكَرِ اسْمُ اللّهِعَلَيْهِ وَإِنَّهُ لَفِسْقٌ وَإِنَّ الشَّيَاطِينَ لَيُوحُونَ إِلَى أَوْلِيَآئِهِمْ لِيُجَادِلُوكُمْ وَإِنْ أَطَعْتُمُوهُمْ إِنَّكُمْ لَمُشْرِكُونَ (6:121)• 6:121 (Asad) Hence, eat not of that over which God's name has notbeen pronounced: for this would besinful conduct indeed. And, verily, the evil impulses [within men's hearts] whisper unto those who have made them their own [106] that they should involve you in argument [as to what is and what is not a sin]; and if you pay heed unto them, lo! you will become [like] those who ascribe divinity to other beings or forces beside God. [107] -Chapter 6, Al-Anam, verse 121 of the Quran mentions that the meat that has been sacrificed without taking Allah's name is haraam or forbidden for the followers of Islam.It is also compulsary to take Allah's name before eating food otherwise satan, who steals food to satiate his hunger,also starts eating along......

Satan Lures People Towards Indecency
Satan tries to entice people towardsindecency and other evil deeds. Satan starts miseading the females towards vulgarity first. This has been mentioned clearly in the Quran, chapter.2, Al-Baqarah, verseno.268الشَّيْطَانُ يَعِدُكُمُ الْفَقْرَ وَيَأْمُرُكُم بِالْفَحْشَاء وَاللّهُ يَعِدُكُم مَّغْفِرَةً مِّنْهُ وَفَضْلاً وَاللّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ (2:268)2:268 (Asad) Satan threatens you with the prospect of poverty and bids you to be niggardly, whereas God promises you His forgiveness and bounty; and God is infinite, all-knowing.

Satan Lures Women To Befriend Name Hram Or Strangers
Allah has for bidden girls to befriend strangers but in today's world girls commonly mingle freely with strangers. Freinship between girls and boys is strictly for bidden as it is an evil deed. However people do not relaise that it is satan who wishes everyone to go against Allah, so he entices boys and girls to mingle with each other.Surah An-Nisa, verse 25وَمَن لَّمْ يَسْتَطِعْ مِنكُمْ طَوْلاً أَن يَنكِحَ الْمُحْصَنَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ فَمِن مِّا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُم مِّن فَتَيَاتِكُمُ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَاللّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِإِيمَانِكُمْ بَعْضُكُم مِّن بَعْضٍ فَانكِحُوهُنَّ بِإِذْنِأَهْلِهِنَّ وَآتُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ مُحْصَنَاتٍ غَيْرَ مُسَافِحَاتٍ وَلاَ مُتَّخِذَاتِ أَخْدَانٍ فَإِذَا أُحْصِنَّ فَإِنْ أَتَيْنَ بِفَاحِشَةٍ فَعَلَيْهِنَّ نِصْفُ مَا عَلَى الْمُحْصَنَاتِ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ ذَلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِيَ الْعَنَتَ مِنْكُمْ وَأَن تَصْبِرُواْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ وَاللّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ (4:25)• 4:25 (Asad) And as for those of you who, owing to circumstances, are not in a position [29] to marry free believing women, [let them marry] believing maidens from among those whom you rightfully possess. [30] And God knows all about your faith; each one of you is an issue of the other. [31] Marry them, then, with their people's leave, and give them their dowers in an equitable manner - they beingwomen who give themselves in honest wedlock, not in fornication, nor as secret love-companions. [32]And when they are married, and thereafter become guilty of immoral conduct, they shall be liable to half the penalty to which free married women are liable. [33] This [permission to marry slave-girls applies] to those of you who fear lest they stumble into evil. [34] But it is for your own goodto persevere in patience [and to abstain from such marriages]: and God is much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace. -depicts how Allah does not allow any friendship between strangers from the opposite sex.

Those Who Obey Satan Will Be Sent To Hell
Satan easily manages to deceive human beings and make them do all sorts of evil deeds.Allah has given us free will by which we can ignore the tricks of satan and not come under his influence. However, there are lots of ignorantpeople amongst us who are unable to differentiate good from evil. They cannot make out what is a good action and what is considered to be evil. Well, everything that goes against the Quran and Hadith is evil and doing something that is against the teachings of Allah is akinto following satan. Allah has forbidden us to follow the satan in the Quran,قُلْ هَلْ أُنَبِّئُكُم بِشَرٍّ مِّن ذَلِكَ مَثُوبَةً عِندَ اللّهِ مَن لَّعَنَهُ اللّهُ وَغَضِبَ عَلَيْهِ وَجَعَلَ مِنْهُمُ الْقِرَدَةَ وَالْخَنَازِيرَ وَعَبَدَ الطَّاغُوتَ أُوْلَـئِكَ شَرٌّ مَّكَاناً وَأَضَلُّ عَن سَوَاء السَّبِيلِ (5:60)• 5:60 (Asad) Say: "Shall I tell you who, in the sight of God, deserves ayet worse retribution than these? They whom God has rejected and whom He has condemned, and whom He has turned into apes and swine because they worshipped thepowers of evil: [77] these are yet worse in station, and farther astray from the right path [than the mockers]." [78] -chapter:5, verse:60,تَاللّهِ لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَى أُمَمٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ فَهُوَ وَلِيُّهُمُ الْيَوْمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ (16:63)• 16:63 (Asad) By God, [O Prophet,] even before thy time have We sent apostles unto [various] communities: but [those who were bent on denying the truth have always refused to listen to Our messages because] Satan has made all their own doings seem goodly tothem: and he is [as] close to them today [73] [as he was to the sinners of yore]; hence, grievous suffering awaits them. -chapter:16, verse: 63فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَحْشُرَنَّهُمْ وَالشَّيَاطِينَ ثُمَّ لَنُحْضِرَنَّهُمْ حَوْلَ جَهَنَّمَ جِثِيًّا (19:68)• 19:68 (Asad) And so, by thy Sustainer, [on Judgment Day] We shall most certainly bring them forth together with the satanic forces [which impelled them in life][52] and then We shall most certainly gather them, on their knees, around hell; -and chapter:19, verse:68.

Satan Decieves Human Beings By Giving Them False Hopes
Satan leaves no stone unturned in trying to mislead human beings. Hedecieves us by giving us false hopes. This has been mentioned in the Quran inيَعِدُهُمْ وَيُمَنِّيهِمْ وَمَا يَعِدُهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ إِلاَّ غُرُورًا (4:120)• 4:120 (Asad) he holds out promises to them, and fills them with vain desires: yet whatever Satan promises them is but meant to delude the mind. [142] -chapter,4, verse:120,وَقَالَ الشَّيْطَانُ لَمَّا قُضِيَ الأَمْرُ إِنَّ اللّهَ وَعَدَكُمْ وَعْدَ الْحَقِّ وَوَعَدتُّكُمْ فَأَخْلَفْتُكُمْ وَمَا كَانَ لِيَ عَلَيْكُم مِّن سُلْطَانٍ إِلاَّ أَن دَعَوْتُكُمْ فَاسْتَجَبْتُمْ لِي فَلاَ تَلُومُونِي وَلُومُواْ أَنفُسَكُم مَّا أَنَاْ بِمُصْرِخِكُمْوَمَا أَنتُمْ بِمُصْرِخِيَّ إِنِّي كَفَرْتُ بِمَآ أَشْرَكْتُمُونِ مِن قَبْلُ إِنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ (14:22)• 14:22 (Asad) And when everythingwill have been decided, Satan will say: "Behold, God promised you something that was bound to come true! [30] I, too, held out [all manner of] promises to you -but I deceived you. Yet I had no power atall over you: I but called you-and you responded unto me. Hence, blame not me, but blame yourselves. [31] It is not for me to respond to your cries, nor for you to respond to mine: [32] for, behold, I have [always] refused to admit that there was any truth in your erstwhile belief that I had a share in God's divinity." [33] Verily, for all evildoers [34] there is grievous suffering in store. -chapter.14, verse:22وَاسْتَفْزِزْ مَنِ اسْتَطَعْتَ مِنْهُمْ بِصَوْتِكَ وَأَجْلِبْ عَلَيْهِم بِخَيْلِكَ وَرَجِلِكَ وَشَارِكْهُمْ فِي الأَمْوَالِ وَالأَوْلادِ وَعِدْهُمْ وَمَا يَعِدُهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ إِلاَّ غُرُورًا (17:64)• 17:64 (Asad) Entice, then, with thy voice such of them as thou canst, and bear upon them with all thy horses and all thy men, [77] and be their partner in [all sins relating to] worldly goods and children, [78] and hold out [all manner of] promises to them: and [they will not know that] whatever Satan promises them is but meant to delude the mind. [79] -chapter 17, verse:64,لَقَدْ أَضَلَّنِي عَنِ الذِّكْرِ بَعْدَ إِذْ جَاءنِي وَكَانَ الشَّيْطَانُ لِلْإِنسَانِ خَذُولًا (25:29)• 25:29 (Asad) Indeed, he led me astray from the remembrance [of God] after it had come unto me!” For [thus it is:] Satan is ever a betrayer of man. [22] -chapter:25, verse: 29فَدَلاَّهُمَا بِغُرُورٍ فَلَمَّا ذَاقَا الشَّجَرَةَ بَدَتْ لَهُمَا سَوْءَاتُهُمَا وَطَفِقَا يَخْصِفَانِ عَلَيْهِمَا مِن وَرَقِ الْجَنَّةِ وَنَادَاهُمَا رَبُّهُمَا أَلَمْ أَنْهَكُمَا عَن تِلْكُمَا الشَّجَرَةِ وَأَقُل لَّكُمَا إِنَّ الشَّيْطَآنَ لَكُمَا عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ (7:22)• 7:22 (Asad) -and thus he led them on with deluding thoughts. But as soon as the two had tasted [the fruit] of the tree, they became conscious of their nakedness; and they began to cover themselves with pieced-together leaves from the garden. And their Sustainer called unto them: "Did I not forbid that tree unto you and tell you, `Verily, Satan is your open foe'?" -and chapter 7, verse:22.

Satan Is Our Biggest Foe
Satan had disobeyed Allah by refusing to prostrate before Adam alay salam.So Allah had labelled him as a traitor and evil-monger and expelled him from jannat. Since that day satan has become vindictive and had told Allah that hewould try to mislead human beings from the path of virtue. Thus, he had become the biggets enemy of human beings as his sole motive is to lead them astray so that they become disobedient towards Allah, like satan himself. The Quran describes satan as our biggest enemy inيَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ كُلُواْ مِمَّا فِي الأَرْضِ حَلاَلاً طَيِّباً وَلاَ تَتَّبِعُواْ خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ (2:168)• 2:168 (Asad) O MANKIND! Partake of what is lawful and good on earth,and follow not Satan's footsteps: for, verily, he is your open foe, -chapter:2, verse:168.وَدَخَلَ الْمَدِينَةَ عَلَى حِينِ غَفْلَةٍ مِّنْأَهْلِهَا فَوَجَدَ فِيهَا رَجُلَيْنِ يَقْتَتِلَانِ هَذَا مِن شِيعَتِهِ وَهَذَا مِنْ عَدُوِّهِ فَاسْتَغَاثَهُ الَّذِي مِن شِيعَتِهِ عَلَى الَّذِي مِنْ عَدُوِّهِ فَوَكَزَهُ مُوسَى فَقَضَى عَلَيْهِ قَالَ هَذَا مِنْ عَمَلِ الشَّيْطَانِ إِنَّهُ عَدُوٌّ مُّضِلٌّ مُّبِينٌ (28:15)• 28:15 (Asad) And [one day] he entered the city at a time when [most of] its people were [resting intheir houses,] unaware of what was going on [in the streets]; [13] and there he encountered two men fighting with one another - one of his own people, [14] and the other of his enemies. And the one who belonged to his own people cried out to him for help against him whowas of his enemies - whereupon Moses struck him down with his fist, and [thus] brought about his end. [But then] he said [to himself]: “This is of Satan’s doing! Verily, he isan open foe, leading [man] astray!” [15] -chapter 28:, verse 15إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ فَاتَّخِذُوهُ عَدُوًّا إِنَّمَا يَدْعُو حِزْبَهُ لِيَكُونُوا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ السَّعِيرِ (35:6)• 35:6 (Asad) Behold, Satan is a foe unto you: so treat him as a foe. He but calls on his followers to the endthat they might find themselves among such as are destined for the blazing flame – -chapter: 35,verse:6أَلَمْ أَعْهَدْ إِلَيْكُمْ يَا بَنِي آدَمَ أَن لَّا تَعْبُدُوا الشَّيْطَانَ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ (36:60)• 36:60 (Asad) Did I not enjoin on you, O you children of Adam, that you should not worship Satan – since, verily, he is your open foe [30]. and chapter 36, verse:60.Allah has strictly forbidden us from following the footsteps of satan as he is our biggest enemy. Allah has ordered all the human beings who have faith in him to follow Islam. This has been mentioned inيَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ ادْخُلُواْ فِي السِّلْمِ كَآفَّةً وَلاَ تَتَّبِعُواْ خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ (2:208)• 2:208 (Asad) O you who have attained to faith! Surrender yourselves wholly unto God, [191] and follow not Satan's footsteps, for, verily, he is your open foe. -chapter: 2, verse:208وَمِنَ الأَنْعَامِ حَمُولَةً وَفَرْشًا كُلُواْ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللّهُ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعُواْ خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ (6:142)• 6:142 (Asad) And of the cattle reared for work and for the sake of their flesh, eat whatever God has provided for you as sustenance, andfollow not Satan's foot-steps: [129] behold, he is your open foe! -chapter 6, verse: 142.
