Indulgence In Vices

This is another important factor which can lead
to demonic possessions. If we leave the main
door of our house open then it will become
quite easy for the burglars to break into our
house. Likewise, people who indulge in vices
such as drug abuse, pornography; music
concerts etc become susceptible to demonic
possessions. Such people indulge in vices which
proves that their addicted to wrong practices in
life. Since addictions are habits which are
beyond a person’s control so it shows that the
people are reckless. This creates certain weak
spots in their auras due to which it become
cakewalk for an evil spirit to sneak inside their
bodies and control them.
In one of my earlier blogs:
howtogetridofaddiction.blogspot.com/, I have
discussed in detail about Satan’s plan of
leading people to self-destruction by getting
them hooked on drugs, alcohol, porn and
various others vices. Those who do not
understand Satan’s evil agenda easily fall into
his trap. Such people gradually lose control
over their mind and they end up becoming
severely addicted to a particular vice. Such
people are quite easy targets because they lack
a strong will power. Moreover, such people may
also have a weak faith in Allah (swt) so they
end up in a vicious circle.
Apart from indulgence in vices there is another
mistake which can lead to demonic possession.
When untrained people meddle in spiritual
matters, whether it is séances or black magic,
the result could be disastrous. While trying to
bring a jinnat/spirits under their control, the
black magicians are already playing with fire.
The amount of risk involved is enormous and
only a highly trained person can be able to
handle the situation. However, sometimes
amateurs also try their hand at black magic
without any protection. A little mistake here
and there is enough to invite the wrath of a
spiritual entity. The spirits can strike back by
driving the layman to insanity or killing him.
Therefore, before making it a habit to keep late
hours and watching porn or before indulging in
any vices mentioned above, one should think
about the consequences of our action. There
are chances that temporary pleasure seeking
could lead to a psychic attack by an evil spirit
and cause much anguish.

Should We Surrender Before The Evil Sirits?

So far I have discussed about the phenomenon
of demonic possession- its causes and its
symptoms. Now a big question which arises is
that how should the person who is possessed,
react to all this? Should he let the intruding
spirit completely destroy him by surrendering
before it or should he fight back?
First of all we need to understand that Satan is
not invincible.
Allah (swt) says in the Holy Quran:
“Indeed, the plot of Satan has ever been
weak’ (TMQ-4:76)
“Certainly, you shall have no authority over My
slaves, except those who follow you of the
Ghawin (Muskrikun and those who go astray,
criminals, polytheists and evil-doers’.
(TMQ-15:42)
“Verily! He has no power over those who believe
and put their trust only in their Lord (Allah) His
power is only on those who obey and follow him
(Satan) and those who join partners with Him
(Allah). (TMQ 69:99-100)
These verses bring out the weakness in Satan’s
schemes and tricks and also depict his
helplessness when it comes to misguiding the
pious people. Those who fear Allah (swt) obey
only Him and they know that Satan is their
biggest enemy who wants to spoil their Akhrah.
Unfortunately, those who have given in to the
temptations of this fleeting world and who
suffer from impulse control disorders such as
drug-addicts; compulsive gamblers etc- become
easy targets for demonic possession. Such
people can be compared to people who sleep
with their doors open, thereby, making it easy
for the burglars to break into their house. A
strong, closed door can prove to be a resistance
for the thieves, who may not be able to break it
open. Likewise, those who are pious and have a
strong will-power to resist evil cannot be
assaulted by demons. By maintaining Wudhoo
24/7 a Muslim can resist the Satanic entities
because the latter cannot assault a person who
is hygienic. They are mostly attracted towards
filthy people.
There are various levels of demonic possession
depending on its severity. If a target’s problem
is diagnosed in the initial stage then cure
becomes easy, like it happens in the case of
medical ailments. Even if the problem has
increased and become moderate, even then
surrendering before the evil forces would not be
the right thing to do. After all such evil entities
feed on the fear of their targets. Fear provides
them with energy, so not reacting to the tactics
of the devil and learning how to ignore their
whispers is a sure-shot way of thwarting the
devil.
In a nutshell, we should remember that Allah
(swt) is All-powerful and Satan is the deadliest
enemy of mankind. If we abstain from evil and
understand the cunning schemes of Satan then
it will be next to impossible for Satan or his ilk
to control our minds and lead us to insanity.

How To Get Rid Of Demonic Possession?

In this concluding post, I would like to discuss
the ways by which one can get rid of demonic
possession.
Let me explain with the help of an example. If
anyone happens to falls sick then the disorder
can be cured with the help of natural remedies.
Just a little time and patience in required.
There are many herbs which are commonly
found in kitchens which can help us to alleviate
an ailment, such as acidity, gastric problem,
indigestion etc. However, if the ailment is so
complicated that it requires surgery then it
would be essential that a person seeks the help
of a medical practitioner, without any time
lapse.
Likewise, though the cases of evil eye can be
dealt with by the victim but the cases of black
magic, psychic attacks and demonic possession
are so dangerous that they should be tackled
only through a powerful Islamic exorcist.
The first mistake that the victim of demonic
possession should avoid is to brush aside all
the unnatural happenings as mere doubts.
Considering demonic possession to be merely
the stuff which horror movies are made of,
would be belying it.
The second mistake which the victim should
avoid is to narrate his/her weird experiences to
every Tom, Dick and Harry. Just like Satanic
whispers should not be disclosed- similarly the
scary experiences of a victim of demonic
possession should also not be told to everyone.
Abu Huraira (ra) narrates that the Allah’s
Messenger (pbuh) said, “Verily Allah forgives my
Ummah for the evil thoughts that occur in their
hearts until they do not say it verbally or act
upon it” (Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim). The
experience should be disclosed before the
exorcist and to our nearest kith and kin.
Repeating about those evil happenings will stir
emotions of fear in our minds. Just like the
fungus in our body feeds on sugars and thrives
so do the evil entities feed on our fears and
proliferate.
Now coming back to the main point we see that
there are two ways in which a calamity can be
handled. Either the distressed person can
spring into action and do self-help. He can try
every trick in the book to protect himself from
the situation of being possessed, i.e. if the
demon has left that much sanity in him. This is
because once the demon takes over the mind of
his target and creeps into his body then it is
the demon that is in total control. The man
loses his free will at the moment the demon
strikes and possesses him. Total demonic
possession shows that the target lacked
spiritual power and his aura was so weak that
the intruding demon could easily accomplish
his mission. In such a helpless and powerless
situation it would be wrong to assume that the
target can evict the demon all by himself.
Besides this, if the demon is under the control
of a black magician then there is no point in
resorting to self help. Even though you may be
highly spiritual and you may also be a pious
Muslim, yet self help in this dangerous matter
would be akin to a fight of one against many.
This is because the powerful black magicians
have thousands of jinnat, demons etc at their
beck and call. So all this makes it essential for
a target to seek professional help.

Healing Black Magic (An Introduction)

Black magic can be defined as an ailment which
cannot be cured by any medicine, unlike other
ailments, because of its spiritual nature. It is a
spiritual ailment which is thrust upon the
victim in order to harm him through spiritual
entities (jinnat). Black magic is done stealthily,
quite similar to the contract killings. In the
case of a contract killing, the contractor secretly
hires a killer and pays him handsomely to get
the victim killed. Likewise, in the case of a black
magic assault, the victim’s enemy may hire a
black magic practitioner and tell him to harm
the victim in whichever way he prefers. Since
the black magic practitioners are devoid of any
faith in Allah (swt) so they do are not reluctant
even if they are asked to kill an innocent victim.
In the case of contract killing, the contractor or
the killer stand a chance of getting caught and
punished by law. Unfortunately, in the case of
black magic, the tantriks (black magic
practitioners), usually get away scot- free.
Though their crime is not a minor one yet they
are not brought to book, usually, due to lack of
enough proof. The Islamic law states that
anyone who is caught practicing black magic
should be killed. It is reported from Hazrat
Umar (ra) that he wrote, “Kill every sorcerer and
sorceress”. Unfortunately, it happens only once
in a blue moon that someone gets caught red-
handed practicing black magic and gets
punished. In most of the places occult crimes
go unnoticed, except for Saudi Arabia, where
black magic is an offence punishable by law.
The history of black magic is almost as old as
the human civilization. It is a well known fact
that that the first murder which took place on
earth was of Habil, the son of Adam (as) and
Hawwa (as) who was killed by his own brother
Qabil. Though we cannot pinpoint any
particular incidence in human history where
black magic was practiced for the first time ever,
nevertheless, we have a rough idea that black
magic has a quite long history. The Holy Quran
has mentioned in Surah Al-Araaf that during
the rein of Firaun, black magic was very common
in the society. Hazrat Moosa (as) had
confronted the black magicians of Firaun and he
had defeated them by them by the Grace of
Allah (swt). This gives us a fair idea that black
magic is being practiced almost since the dawn
of mankind.
Our dear Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) had also
been inflicted with black magic during his
lifetime by Lubaid bin Al-Aasim. It was after
this incident that Allah (swt) had revealed to
the Holy Prophet Surah Falak and Surah Naas.
These two Quranic verses protect the one who
reads them from black magic. Apart from these
two verses there are some other spiritual
remedies as well which can help the victim to
overcome the problem of black magic.
In the subsequent posts, I shall Inshallah
explain about all the remedies of black magic,
in a lucid way, so that the victims can easily
find their way out of this labyrinth.

Custom-Made Treatment Of Black Magic

Before I start discussing about the healing
methods I would like you to ponder about
another relevant matter. To illustrate the point
which I wish like to discuss here I will give a
hypothetical example. Suppose there are two
men A and B who suffer from the same dreadful
disease-cancer. Do you suppose that if they
were to visit a cancer hospital then the doctors
would give both of them the same treatment,
since they both suffer from the same type of
cancer? No! The only thing which may be
common between both the patients is that they
suffer from the same ailment. However, as far as
the treatment is concerned there are several
other factors which the doctors may have to look
into before they finally chalk out a treatment
strategy. Patient A may be suffering from an
early-stage cancer whereas the patient B may
be suffering from the fourth or the last stage of
cancer. Even if both the patients were suffering
from a less severe disease then in that case
also, their treatment would vary according to
different factors such as their case history, age,
family medical history etc.
In other words, each individual needs a tailor-
made treatment instead of a general one, for a
speedy recovery.
Likewise, though two people may be suffering
from black magic yet there can be differences
galore. For example, whereas one victim may
have only a single enemy but the other one
may have a plenty of people in his life who are
his sworn enemies. Even if both the victims had
just a single enemy, yet differences can arise in
this case as well. The enemy of victim A may be
after him relentlessly, i.e. he will go on
inflicting black magic on victim A continuously
till he feels that he has taken revenge or that
he has destroyed A completely. On the other
hand, the enemy of victim B may get tired after
a while and may give up.
So the intensity and the nature of the black
magic problem can vary between different
victims. Moreover, some people are more
spiritual then others. So there are chances that
they will not be as adversely affected by black
magic spells than those victims who do not
possess a spiritual nature.
Some of the victims face the problem of black
magic till a short span of time in their life
whereas there are some whose problem spans
over several decades. Sometimes black magic
continues in families- generation after
generation. If the black magic hex is not
broken by a spiritual healer then it may
continue to afflict a family and its successors to
the third and fourth generations.
In a nutshell, no two cases of black magic can
be identical so their treatment strategies also
need to be tailor-made so that the victim gets
relief faster.

Identifying The Problem Of Black Magic

It is said that a problem identified is a
problem half-solved. Unfortunately, umpteen
cases of black magic go unidentified. The
outcome is that innocent people suffer from
irrevocable loss of property, wealth and even
lives. Why does cancer often get detected only
during the last stage? It is simply because
those who suffer from it ignore the signs of its
onset. There are several warning signs of every
disease but people usually ignore them. This is
the reason why the disease gets a chance to
grow and spread. Likewise, black magic also has
many signs and symptoms. If these signs and
symptoms are detected at an early stage then
curing this spiritual problem becomes easier for
a spiritual healer. It is rightly said that ‘a
stitch in time saves nine’. However, if the signs
are ignored over a long period of time then the
black magic spell gets a chance to grow
stronger. Gradually the noose tightens around
the victim due to his unawareness and sooner
or later the victim gets deformed into a mere
puppet in the hands of the tantrik/ black magic
practitioner. The victim ends up as a helpless
person whose remote control is in the hands of
the tantrik. The latter can make him do
whatever his client has ordered him to do. This
pathetic situation arises mainly due to
negligence and unawareness on part of the
victim. It may also arise due to the negative
trait of escapism due to which the victim
considers it better to ignore the problem
altogether instead of facing it head on.
A question arises that why do people often
overlook the issue of black magic and destroy
their freewill, peace of mind, thereby, making
their lives miserable? Well, to find the answer
to this question we will have to consider the
three categories of people, depending on their
outlooks.
The first group comprises of people who are
mature, worldly-wise and discerning. They try to
learn from the mistakes and experiences of
other people.
The second group consists of those people who
are not smart enough to learn from the
mistakes of others. Rather they make mistakes
in their lives and then learn fro their own
mistakes.
The third group consists of people who do not
bother to learn from their own past mistakes.
How many people do we find around us who
seem to belong to the first group? There might
be many but not as many as those who belong
to the third and the fourth groups. This is the
main problem why so many cases of black magic
go undetected. We find around ourselves
several cases of people who have been afflicted
with black magic. However, very few people
bother to learn something from the experience
of others and become vigilant themselves. There
are lots of people who simply brush aside this
topic as being irrational and baseless. This is a
totally wrong notion because if a fact has been
mentioned in the Holy Quran umpteen times
then how can anyone simply not take notice of
it. We know that the subject of black magic has
been brought up in several verses of the Holy
Quran.
Therefore, the first method of tackling the
problem of black magic is to change our mind-
set. We should try to understand the truth that
like murders, sodomy and other grisly crimes
which take place in the society black magic is
also a crime. S we should strive to protect
ourselves from this occult crime just like we try
to protect ourselves from other crimes.

Black Magic Requires A Holistic Treatment

The issue of black magic is a not a simple one.
Therefore, we need to adopt a multi-
dimensional approach for quelling this problem.
Black magic can lead to both psychiatric as well
as physical problems. So a simple approach will
not suffice. Suppose a person’s happiness has
been blocked through black magic then the
person may get frequent bouts of depression.
Such a person can be cured through a
combination of spiritual healing as well as
psychiatric treatment to help him tide over
depression completely. In another case, if a
black magician casts a spell on the health of
the victim then the victim needs both spiritual
as well as medical help. Sometimes, during the
spiritual treatment the healer has to deal with
stubborn jinnat who possess the victim and who
are not willing to spare the victim easily. So the
evil jinnat inflict pain upon the victim so that
he surrenders before them and leaves the
spiritual treatment half way through. During
such instances the spiritual healers advise the
victim to take painkillers. So generally speaking,
black magic creates a complicated situation and
for dealing with this situation the victim needs
a holistic treatment rather than a unilateral
approach.
In the subsequent posts, I shall be highlighting
the various options which are meant to cure
black magic. Through the Holy Quran and the
ahadith Allah (swt) has prescribed various
prayers and some other methods, which if
followed religiously, can help us to cure black
magic. However, just like a unilateral approach
cannot help us to solve a complicated issue,
likewise we cannot expect great results by just
following a single remedy for breaking the black
magic hex. One needs to follow a foolproof
regimen which does not give your opponent, i.e.
the black magician any opportunity to attack
you or to control you.
In my next posts Inshallah I shall pinpoint the
main factors which will help you to achieve that
perfect regimen, which can make you black
magic proof.
As long as this world goes on Satan will
continue to entice people and with the help of
his followers he will keep trying to harm
innocent people through the black magic tricks.
Since Satan will not surrender before the
people who have faith in Allah (swt), till the
end of this world, so the pious amongst us
should also not surrender before Satan. Lastly,
though we cannot stop our enemies from
plotting against us and casting spells on us
with the help of black magicians, yet, we can
certainly seek Allah (swt)’s protection against
black magic. My next posts will deal with the
ways by which we should seek Allah (swt)’s help
and protection.
