The looks of satan are quite repulsive. He looks dark and ugly. This is because his actions are always evil and this reflects on his face. Satan is mostly black-faced or red-faced because he performs black magic. Besides this, he also indulges in some loathsome activities that are beyond human imagination. For ex: he eats shit so that his magic spells become powerful. Most of us also imagine him to be a detestable and unpleasant looking creature. In Chapter Saffat, verse no.64-65 ofthe holy Quran Allah has compared the tree that grows out from the base of the hell to the head of satan. (37:64)37:64 (Y. Ali) For it is a tree that springs out of the bottom of Hell-Fire:طَلْعُهَا كَأَنَّهُ رُؤُوسُ الشَّيَاطِينِ (37:65)37:65 (Y. Ali) The shoots of its fruit-stalks are like the heads of devils:remember me in your prayers.

The Look Appearance Of Satan
Satan Can Spoil The Relationship Between A Husband And Wife
The reason behind many marriages going on the rocks is satan. This is mainly because satan gets great pleasure in creating discord between a married couple. The reason being that satan is unable tosee any of us living in bliss and peace.Marriage is that sacred bond that leads to reproduction. This process of giving birth to children makes the world go on. So satan tries his best to make married couples split. This has been mentioned in the Quran, chapter.2- Al-Baqarah, verse102. (2:102)2:102 (Y. Ali) They followed what the evil ones gave out (falsely) against the power of Solomon: the blasphemers Were, not Solomon, but the evil ones, teaching men Magic, and such things as came down at babylon to the angels Harut and Marut. But neither of these taught anyone (Such things) without saying: "We are only for trial; so do not blaspheme." They learned from them the means to sow discord between man and wife. But they could not thus harm anyone except by Allah's permission. And they learned what harmed them, not what profited them. And they knew that the buyers of (magic) would have no share in the happiness of the Hereafter. And vile was the price for which they did sell their souls, ifthey but knew! Moreover, shatan also tries to create disputes and enmity between siblings so that all of themkeeping fighting amongst each other and none of them live in peace. This has been mentioned in the chapter 12 - Yusuf, verse (12:100)12:100 (Asad) And he raised his parents to the highest place of honour; [97] and they [all] fell downbefore Him, prostrating themselvesin adoration. [98] Thereupon [Joseph] said: "O my father! This is the real meaning of my dream of long ago, which my Sustainer has made come true. [99] And He was indeed good to me when He freed me from the prison, and [when] He brought you [all unto me] from the desert after Satan had sown discordbetween me and my brothers. Verily, my Sustainer is unfathomable in [the way He bringsabout] whatever He wills: [100] verily, He alone is all-knowing, trulywise! (17:53)17:53 (Asad) AND TELL My servants that they should speak in the most kindly manner [unto those who do not share their beliefs]: [60] verily, Satan is always ready to stir up discord between men [61] - for, verily, Satan is man's open foe! -and chapter 17- Al-Isra, verse no. 53 of the holy Quran. This video clearly depicts how satanmanages to trick us.remember me in your prayers.

Number Of Satans
As opposed to the common perception there is not just a singlesatan. The holy Quran mentions about the existence of a huge number of satans. The most powerful of all the satans is the Iblis. The rest of the satans are under his hegemony. Iblis is also known as the babahe satan. The satans also have a hierarchy in which the king has an army of about30,000-70,000 satans under his control. There is a mention of the satan’s army in the holy Quran in verse no.95,
chapter 26. (26:95)26:95 (Y. Ali) "And the whole hosts of Iblis together. The satans function in groups also in which there is one leader and innumerable number of satans working under him. There is solidarity amongst the satans and they work in unison. If occasion arises they do not hesitate to sacrifice their lives to help their group members. Amongst these satans there are amil-kamil black magicians and those satans who arecapable of performing the most powerful and dangerous magic spells. There is a mention about such satanic groups in several places in the holy Quran such as chapter no.58, verse 19.
(58:19)58:19 (Y. Ali)
The Evil One has got the better of them: so he has madethem lose the remembrance of Allah. They are the Party of the Evil One. Truly, it is the Party of the EvilOne that will perish!Besides having formed huge armiesand groups the satans also have a tribe/ sardari system. The satans have formed numerous tribes which comprise of a huge number of satans. The most powerful satan in a tribe is called the leader or sardar of that tribe. Such satanic tribal leaders have around 800-1200 billion forces at their command. The Surah Al-Anaam, verse no. 123 of the Quran mentions about such satanic tribes. (6:123)6:123 (Y. Ali) Thus have We placed leaders in every town, its wicked men, to plot (and burrow) therein: but they only plot against their ownsouls, and they perceive it not.remember me in your prayers.

Satan Has Been Mentioned In Quran
In this blog I have made a humble attempt to spread awareness about satan, who happens to be the biggest enemy of all the human beings. Unfortunately, a lot of people do not understand the concept of satan, as mentioned in the holy Quran. Even if they do understand the nature of satan theydo not make any attempt to protect themselves from satan. There is a clear mention of satan in the holy Quran in several places. I am posting all those verses from the holy Quran related to satan, which Ihave come across.
(2:36)2:36 (Y. Ali) Then did satan make them slip from the (garden), and get them out of the state (of felicity) in which they had been. Wesaid: "Get ye down, all (ye people), with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be your dwelling-place and your means of livelihood - for a time.
(3:155)3:155 (Y. Ali) Those of you who turned back on the day the two hosts Met,-it was satan who caused them to fail, because of some (evil) they had done. But Allah Has blotted out (their fault): For Allah isOft-Forgiving, Most Forbearing. (4:60)4:60 (Y. Ali) Hast thou not turned Thy vision to those who declare thatthey believe in the revelations that have come to thee and to those before thee? Their (real) wish is to resort together for judgment (in their disputes) to the Evil One, though they were ordered to rejecthim. But satan's wish is to lead them astray far away (from the right).An-Nisa (The Women)الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ الطَّاغُوتِ فَقَاتِلُواْ أَوْلِيَاء الشَّيْطَانِ إِنَّ كَيْدَ الشَّيْطَانِ كَانَ ضَعِيفًا (4:76)4:76 (Y. Ali) Those who believe fightin the cause of Allah, and those whoreject Faith Fight in the cause of Evil: So fight ye against the friends of satan: feeble indeed is the cunning of satan.
(4:83)4:83 (Y. Ali) When there comes to them some matter touching (Public)safety or fear, they divulge it. If they had only referred it to the Messenger, or to those charged with authority among them, the proper investigators would have Tested it from them (direct). Were it not for the Grace and Mercy of Allah unto you, all but a few of you would have fallen into the clutches of satan.
(4:117)4:117 (Y. Ali) (The Pagans), leaving Him, call but upon female deities:
They call but upon satan the persistent rebel! (4:119)4:119 (Y. Ali) "I will mislead them, and I will create in them false desires; I will order them to slit theears of cattle, and to deface the (fair) nature created by Allah." Whoever, forsaking Allah, takes satan for a friend, hath of a surety suffered a loss that is manifest. (4:120)4:120 (Y. Ali) satan makes them promises, and creates in them falsedesires; but satan's promises are nothing but deception. (5:90)5:90 (Y. Ali) O ye who believe! Intoxicants and gambling, (dedication of) stones, and (divination by) arrows, are an abomination,- of satan's handwork: eschew such (abomination), that ye may prosper. (5:91)5:91 (Y. Ali) satan's plan is (but) to excite enmity and hatred between you, with intoxicants and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of Allah, and from prayer: will ye not then abstain? (6:43)6:43 (Y. Ali) When the suffering reached them from us, why then did they not learn humility? On the contrary their hearts became hardened, and satan made their (sinful) acts seem alluring to them. (6:68)6:68 (Y. Ali) When thou seest men engaged in vain discourse about Our signs, turn away from them unless they turn to a different theme. If satan ever makes thee forget, then after recollection, sit not thou in the company of those who do wrong. (6:142)6:142 (Y. Ali) Of the cattle are somefor burden and some for meat: eat what Allah hath provided for you, and follow not the footsteps of satan: for he is to you and avowed enemy. (7:20)7:20 (Y. Ali) Then began satan to whisper suggestions to them, bringing openly before their minds all their shame that was hidden from them (before): he said: "Your Lord only forbade you this tree, lest ye should become angels or such beings as live for ever."Al-A'raf (The Heights)فَدَلاَّهُمَا بِغُرُورٍ فَلَمَّا ذَاقَا الشَّجَرَةَ بَدَتْ لَهُمَا سَوْءَاتُهُمَا وَطَفِقَا يَخْصِفَانِ عَلَيْهِمَا مِن وَرَقِ الْجَنَّةِ وَنَادَاهُمَا رَبُّهُمَا أَلَمْ أَنْهَكُمَا عَن تِلْكُمَا الشَّجَرَةِ وَأَقُل لَّكُمَا إِنَّ الشَّيْطَآنَ لَكُمَا عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ (7:22)7:22 (Y. Ali) So by deceit he broughtabout their fall: when they tasted ofthe tree, their shame became manifest to them, and they began to sew together the leaves of the garden over their bodies. And theirLord called unto them: "Did I not forbid you that tree, and tell you that satan was an avowed enemy unto you?"Al-A'raf (The Heights)يَا بَنِي آدَمَ لاَ يَفْتِنَنَّكُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ كَمَا أَخْرَجَ أَبَوَيْكُم مِّنَ الْجَنَّةِ يَنزِعُ عَنْهُمَا لِبَاسَهُمَا لِيُرِيَهُمَا سَوْءَاتِهِمَا إِنَّهُ يَرَاكُمْ هُوَوَقَبِيلُهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لاَ تَرَوْنَهُمْ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا الشَّيَاطِينَ أَوْلِيَاء لِلَّذِينَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ (7:27)7:27 (Y. Ali) O ye Children of Adam! Let not satan seduce you, in the same manner as He got your parents out of the Garden, stripping them of their raiment, to expose their shame: for he and his tribe watch you from a position where ye cannot see them: We made the evil ones friends (only) tothose without faith. (7:175)7:175 (Y. Ali) Relate to them the story of the man to whom We sent Our signs, but he passed them by: so satan followed him up, and he went astray. (7:200)7:200 (Y. Ali) If a suggestion from satan assail thy (mind), seek refuge with Allah. for He heareth and knoweth (all things).Al-A'raf (The Heights)إِنَّ الَّذِينَ اتَّقَواْ إِذَا مَسَّهُمْ طَائِفٌ مِّنَ الشَّيْطَانِ تَذَكَّرُواْ فَإِذَا هُم مُّبْصِرُونَ (7:201)7:201 (Y. Ali) Those who fear Allah, when a thought of evil from satan assaults them, bring Allah to remembrance, when lo! they see (aright)!Al-Anfal (The Spoils of War)إِذْ يُغَشِّيكُمُ النُّعَاسَ أَمَنَةً مِّنْهُ وَيُنَزِّلُ عَلَيْكُم مِّن السَّمَاء مَاء لِّيُطَهِّرَكُم بِهِ وَيُذْهِبَ عَنكُمْ رِجْزَ الشَّيْطَانِ وَلِيَرْبِطَ عَلَى قُلُوبِكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتَ بِهِ الأَقْدَامَ (8:11)8:11 (Y. Ali) Remember He covered you with a sort of drowsiness, to give you calm as from Himself, and he caused rain to descend on you from heaven, to clean you therewith, to remove from you the stain of satan, to strengthen your hearts, and to plant your feet firmly therewith.-Al-Anfal (The Spoils of War)وَإِذْ زَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ وَقَالَ لاَ غَالِبَ لَكُمُ الْيَوْمَ مِنَ النَّاسِ وَإِنِّي جَارٌ لَّكُمْ فَلَمَّا تَرَاءتِ الْفِئَتَانِ نَكَصَ عَلَى عَقِبَيْهِ وَقَالَإِنِّي بَرِيءٌ مِّنكُمْ إِنِّي أَرَى مَا لاَ تَرَوْنَ إِنِّيَ أَخَافُ اللّهَ وَاللّهُ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ (8:48)8:48 (Y. Ali) Remember satan made their (sinful) acts seem alluring to them, and said: "No one among men can overcome you this day, while I am near to you": But when the two forces came in sight of eachother, he turned on his heels, and said: "Lo! I am clear of you; lo! I seewhat ye see not; Lo! I fear Allah. forAllah is strict in punishment."Yusuf (Joseph)قَالَ يَا بُنَيَّ لاَ تَقْصُصْ رُؤْيَاكَ عَلَى إِخْوَتِكَ فَيَكِيدُواْ لَكَ كَيْدًا إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لِلإِنسَانِ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ (12:5)12:5 (Y. Ali) Said (the father): "My (dear) little son! relate not thy vision to thy brothers, lest they concoct a plot against thee: for satan is to man an avowed enemy! (12:42)12:42 (Y. Ali) And of the two, to thatone whom he consider about to be saved, he said: "Mention me to thy lord." But satan made him forget tomention him to his lord: and (Joseph) lingered in prison a few (more) years. (12:100)12:100 (Y. Ali) And he raised his parents high on the throne (of dignity), and they fell down in prostration, (all) before him. He said: "O my father! this is the fulfilment of my vision of old! Allahhath made it come true! He was indeed good to me when He took me out of prison and brought you (all here) out of the desert, (even) after satan had sown enmity between me and my brothers. Verily my Lord understandeth best the mysteries of all that He planneth to do, for verily He is full of knowledge and wisdom. (14:22)14:22 (Y. Ali) And satan will say when the matter is decided: "It wasAllah Who gave you a promise of Truth: I too promised, but I failed in my promise to you. I had no authority over you except to call you but ye listened to me: then reproach not me, but reproach your own souls. I cannot listen to your cries, nor can ye listen to mine. Satan Is A Learned, Black Magician Devil/Jinnat
Satan is a powerful black
magician himself and he
can cast various sorts of
powerful black magic
spells. He teaches the magicians, under his
control, new tricks of casting spells. This has
been mentioned in Surah Baqarah, verse:102

• 2:102 (Asad) and follow [instead] that which
the evil ones used to practice during
Solomon's reign - for it was not Solomon who
denied the truth, but those evil ones denied it
by teaching people sorcery [82] -; and [they
follow] that which has come down through the
two angels in Babylon, Hurut and Marut-
although these two never taught it to anyone
without first declaring, "We are but a
temptation to evil: do not, then, deny [God's]
truth!" [83] And they learn from these two
how to create discord between a man and his
wife; but whereas they can harm none thereby
save by God's leave, they acquire a knowledge
that only harms themselves and does not
benefit them - although they know; indeed,
that he who acquires this [knowledge] shall
have no share in the good of the life to come.
[84] For, vile indeed is that [art] for which
they have sold their own selves -had they but
known it! -
The Significance Of Having A Teacher (Ustad) In Amalyaat
The backing of an ustad is
indispensable for an amel.
Performing chillas to bring
jinnat under one’s control is
like playing with fire. It is a
highly risky work that cannot
be done by an amil single-
handedly. Just like a child needs help at every
step and gets the support of his parents if he
stumbles, similarly a novice amil gets help from
his teacher. If the amil happens to make some
mistake, then his teacher handles the situation
and saves him from getting into serious trouble
at the hands of the jinnat.
The amil shares all the incidences that take
place once his amal begins, with his teacher. If
the jinnat are trying to fool the amil in any way
the teacher, who has much more experience,
understands their ploy and deals with them
cleverly.
Unfortunately, many people who are oblivious of
the importance of having a teacher’s support in
amalyaat end up destroying their life. They may
get into insurmountable difficulties and then
regret having tried to enter into this field. So in
order to protect oneself from facing so much
trouble it is advisable to take the help of an
experienced teacher. This is because if the amil
gets into any trouble then only his teacher can
bring him out of the difficulties and guide him.

Demonic Possession (An Introduction)
Allah (swt) says in the Holy Quran:
“(All) praise is (due) to Allah, Lord of the
worlds”
(TMQ-1:2)
The word ‘worlds’ refers to the world in which
live, the world above us, i.e. heaven and all
that lies in between. Our world is inhabited by
human beings whereas the angels live in the
heaven. The remaining spiritual entities, such
as the jinnat, demons or evil spirits exist in the
world in-between our world and the heaven.
For those who have a strong faith no proof or
explanation is needed to convince them about
these spiritual entities and for those who lack
faith, no amount of proof would ever be
sufficient.
Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) said,
“When the wings of the night spread-or when
evening comes- keep your children in, for the
devils come out at that time. Then when part of
the night has passed, let them go. And close
the doors and mention the name of Allah, for
the Satan does not open a closed door. And tie
up your water skins and mention the name of
Allah and cover your vessels and mention the
name of Allah even if you only put something
over them, and extinguish your lamps”.
(Narrated by Al-Bukhari-3280 and Muslim-2012)
This hadith shows that the evil entities become
active after the sunset. This is because such
entities are forms of dark energies and they
need darkness and also stillness of air in order
to materialize and become fully powerful.
The evil spirits and jinnat inhabit mostly these
places:
Desolate places ruins
Unclean places such as toilets, garbage dumps,
dunghills
Graveyards
Generally, such wandering spirits do not harm
human beings. However, there are times when
they fear encroachment on their territories by
us. At other times they fear being overridden by
us. It is in such cases that they tend to attack
a human being to take revenge. There is no
dearth of cases where the resident spirits try to
ward off people to guard their privacy. In one
such case, people have experienced in a
haunted building- cold spots, strange voices
and inability to ascend a particular stair case
due to some inexplicable force.
In general terms, the word ‘possess’ means to
hold as property or to occupy. However, in our
topic of discussion the word ‘possessed’ means
being under the influence of a spirit. There is
evidence of being possessed and maddened by
evil entities in the Holy Quran.
“Allah (swt) says in the Holy Quran:
Those who eat Riba (usury) wil not stand (on
the Day of Resurrection) except like standing of
a person beaten by Satan, leading him to
madness”. (TMQ-2:275)
When a person is possessed by a spirit it is
likely to drive him to insanity because the spirit
takes his mind totally under his control. If the
spirit is devilish then it can spread evil
through the person who is possessed. In such a
case it is hardly surprising that the one who is
possessed loses his sanity totally.
In the subsequent posts I shall probe into this
topic further and I shall be dealing with its
various facets and also its cure, Inshallah.
